Day 1: Paddling Out We loaded up the kayaks and started the journey across Lake Ouachita. One of the clearest lakes in the country, surrounded by hundreds of little islands. Every time we’re out here, it feels like our own private world. Today’s goal: make it to the island, set up camp, and start exploring before the sun drops behind the pines.
